Welcome to Riverside Primary School

I would like to warmly welcome you to Riverside Primary School. Riverside is a hardworking school that has its children at the very heart of every decision that is made.

We are proudly part of the Lionheart Trust and work very closely with our other Trust Primary Schools: Highcliffe Primary, Hallam Fields Primary and Brocks Hill Primary. Together we work tirelessly to ensure that our primary schools provide the highest quality education both holistically and academically.

Our Trust vision of ‘ANY young person from ANY background deserves an EQUAL chance to be successful in whatever they choose to do’ permeates around Riverside. It is further embraced in our school motto of ‘Believe and Achieve’ and the schools 6Rs – Respect, Responsibility, Reflection, Reciprocity, Resourcefulness and Resilience.

At Riverside we truly believe that high expectations should be set for all and that all children will be encouraged to believe in themselves and aim to achieve as highly as possible. We are aspirational for our children and regularly celebrate the many successes that they have each day at school.

We seek to constantly move forward, embracing change and at the same time deliver creative and high quality teaching and learning.

Riverside is a happy school, with a constant flow of smiles around the building. The highlight of every day is seeing those smiles and rewarding the ‘Superstar’ work that the children so very proudly come to show me!

We always look forward to new members joining our Riverside family and warmly welcome visits to see our wonderful school and superstar children in action here at Riverside Primary School.
