Global Topics

Throughout the year, we teach our pupils about topical subjects happening globally. For example, we may discuss climate change or conflict that's happening across the world. We follow a central global issues curriculum from Lionheart Educational Trust which we adapt to make the topics understandable for our pupils.

In January and February 2022, we learned about refugees, basing our learning on a book called 'The Day the War Came'.
