EYFS Welcome meeting 2024-2025
At the Foundation Stage welcome meeting, we provided a comprehensive introduction to Riverside School, ensuring parents felt well-informed about our environment and values. We discussed how children learn in the Foundation Stage and outlined the experiences they would encounter. Our Riverside expectations, including the 6Rs (Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, Resourcefulness, Reflection, and Relationships), along with details on uniforms, food, and milk, were clearly explained. Additionally, we covered Riverside extra services such as wrap-around care and after-school clubs. We offered guidance on how parents could support their child's smooth transition into primary school. Important dates for the diary were highlighted, and we concluded with a brief overview of the homework tasks. The PowerPoint shown during the meeting is attached here.
